Crews from Station 37 were kept busy today with several significant emergency incidents so far. This morning Engine 372 responded on a gas main break on Pembrooke Terrace in 38's primary. Since crews were going to be operating for an extended period of time, command requested Station 36 to move up to Station 37 on the cover assignment. While Ladder 36 was enroute they came across a two-vehicle accident with one vehicle on it's side and possible entrapment at Auten Rd & New Amwell Rd. in 37's primary. Rescue 37 responded on that call and assisted units that were operating at the scene.
This afternoon Stations 36 & 37 were dispatched to the train bridge on Route 206 for a dump truck into the bridge with wires down, a small fire and possible entrapment. Units extinguished a small fire, controlled fluids and stood by while several agencies inspected the bridge for structural integrity. Station 38 was requested to move up to Station 37 on the cover assignment. All units cleared Route 206 by 1600 hrs.
